ROAD TO GEORGETOWN:a geographer's storytelling trek

Dr.Bob Maher and Edward Wedler are planning a 500+ km trek (from Yarmouth NS to Georgetown PEI) starting in September on our road to the Georgetown Conference.

The trip is to show that individual citizens can bring something to the table. We are to remind everyone that each citizen has unique skills. Community grows through its citizens. Those communities then create their own culture.

We are to collect and share stories that define individuals’ rural lives, their community culture and geography.
